First time in J&K, Latest Technologies used at AHAL DENTAL CLINIC

Ultrasonic Bath

A complete ultrasonic cleaning system which consists of different cleaner units and unit accessories which provides us with the flexibility to efficiently clean off and disinfect instruments, tooth fittings and other items from enzymes in saliva. It is basically a precursor process to the autoclave. The cleaning normally lasts between three and six minutes. User safety, wear-resistant plastic housing, quiet performance & synchronous timing are some great advantage of using the Ultrasonic Bath. more..

Autoclave

Autoclaves are used in medical applications to perform sterlization, that is, to keep the instruments clean and hygienic for multiple usage. Class B autoclaves are used by us, which are compact but their performance levels are comparable to those of the largest machines in hospitals. The letter 'B' stands for 'big-small sterlizers' because these small machines offer a big performance.

Dust & Oil Free Air Compressor

This air compressor does not use oil as a lubricant, and are so, can be used safely for a range of dental applications. The dental machinery require certain air pressure to operate properly, which is brought about by using this. The air is passed through a series of micro-filters that take away the fine dust particles and small debris prevalent in a city air. Being oil-free removes any air contamination risks, making it safer for a you. Inside the compressor, the air heavily compressed and cooled to be delivered to the dental machinery. Vibration dampeners are fitted into this to reduce the working noise in the background, to give you a sound ambience. more..

L.E.D. Light Cure Systems

A dental curing light is a piece of dental equipment that is used for hardening a mouldable material into a desired shape, such as that of a particular tooth. These LED curing lights are very different from the conventional halogen curing lights as they are more lightweight, portable and effective.

Amalgam Capsule Mixer

This is used in the making of silver fillings. It mixes the ingredients together in a precise and consistent chemical ratio to get the best bonding out of a filling. It is a mechanised process that reduces the defects of mixing, formerly by hand, to a nil and so a filling lasts longer.

Intra Oral Camera

IOCs are cameras used by dentists or doctors to show a patient the interior of their mouth, as an alternative to using a mirror. While other digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras are useful, IOCs allow the patient to see a clear picture of the inside of their mouth, aiding the dentist in consulting with them on various treatment options. We also use DSLRs for patient documentation wherever required more..

Apex Locator for RCTs

An electronic apex locator is an electronic device used in endodontics determine the position of the apical foramen and thus determine the length of the root canal space. The apex of the root has a specific resistance to electrical current, and this is measured using a pair of electrodes typically hooked into the lip and attached to an endodontic file. It is an electronic device that is used to determine the position of the end of a root canal. Using this, its length can be measured digitally. This helps us to plan the treatment course better. more..

French Pizeon Scaler

Ultrasonic scaling is a dental procedure using an electric device rather than hand instruments. Ultrasonic scalers vibrate at a frequency that breaks down bacterial cell membranes. Since bacteria are what make the plaque and calculus stick to the tooth surface, the ultrasonic scaler removes a great deal of both plaque and calculus.

Dental Impression Material System

The process of taking impressions is simply to transfer 3-D physical data from the patient's mouth to the stone models accurately as possible. 3M ESPE Penta Impression Materials from 3M are designed for less mess, less stress and more control at every step. These systems ensure that the mixed material herald consistent quality.

Radio Visio Graphy

Digital radiography is a form of X-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. Digital radio-vis-o graph is equipped with special image analysis software, and in digital technology it is possible to enlarge the images and their saving in the patient's file. It has 90% less exposure to the patient.

Pulp Testor

Dental pulp vitality test (DPT) or Dental pulp sensibility testing is a technique in dentistry used to diagnose pulpal health of the dental nerve inside the pulp chamber and root canals of a tooth. Dental pulp sensibility testing should not be confused with pulp-vitality tests, such as laser Doppler flowmetry and/or pulse oximetry.

Laser

Medical professionals use lasers, which are extremely focused light beams, to alter or remove tissue in small amounts. Laser surgery is not limited to dentistry. Dentists use lasers in a variety of procedures involving the inside of the mouth, be it to remove overgrown tissue, to reshape the gums, or to whiten teeth.
